Basic Security Guard Level 1 

This program is designed for future security guards, that already have a valid certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR level C and may be used as an introduction to the security industry or a refresher to employees that have not worked in the industry in a while.

OLET has set up a credit system for the new mandatory training requirements effective April 15th 2010. Applicants whom take this course and would like to meet the mandatory training under the PSIG may use the completion of this course as credit to fulfilling the required training. The Ontario Law Enforcement Academy shall issue a Certificate of Completion to the individual completing the course. The certificate shall identify the course taken, the number of hours of training provided, identification of the issuing entity, name of the individual and instructor and the date of issue.
