In Canada, to posses, display or register any type of firearm, you must first have a Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL) issued by the RCMP. Before you can apply for a PAL you must complete the Canadian Firearms Safety Course. There are two courses offered; Restricted and Non Restricted.

The Canadian Firearm Safety Course is entry level information for all firearm users and focuses on Non-Restricted Firearms (most rifles and shotguns). The Canadian Restricted Firearm Safety Course focuses on handguns that are not prohibited under the Criminal Code of Canada.

At OLET we offer both courses, Restricted and Non-Restricted. Our certified instructors will provide you with classroom instruction and testing that is compliance with the Chief Firearms Officer of Ontario.
